Ghanaian forward Elvis Manu has been named in the Sofascore Europa League Team-Of-The-Week for matchday two.
The 27-year-old center-forward was rated 9.2 following his thrilling display in the Europa League on Thursday against Austrian team LAsk Linz.
The Ghanaian-born Dutch scored his first hat-trick in Europe for Bulgarian giants Ludogorets Razgrad in the Europa League on Thursday in Austria.
The former Feyenoord man provided one of his best performance in club career against LASK Linz in the second round of Europa League matches.
The host struck first just two minutes after kick and doubled their lead ten minutes later before Manu reduced the deficit to one on the quarter of an hour mark to make it 2-1.
Marko Raguz scored in the 35th minutes of action to restore the hosts two goals advantage before the break to bring the score to 3-1 in LAsk favour.
Eleven minutes after the break, Husein Balic made it 4-1 to the host but the Ghanaian striker scored again two minutes after the hour mark to reduce the visitor’s deficit to two.
Lukas Grgic committed a foul in the box on the 73rd minute and was shown his second yellow card of the match and the 27-year-old Manu scored the resulting penalty to make the score 4-3 to set up a frenetic end to the match.
The game finished 4-3 to the Austrians.
Manu, 27, has six goals in nine matches in all competitions for the Green Eagles since he joined from Beijing Renhe this summer.
