Hearts of Oak head coach Samule Boadu has refused to be drawn into any form of mind games ahead of his side’s crucial encounter against rivals Great Olympics on Sunday.
Phobia are languishing in the top position after taking 49 points from 27 games while Olympics are in the third spot with 44 points.
Speaking in an interview ahead of the Matse derby, the gaffer for the Phobians said: “We don’t care whoever we are playing with, all that we need is to at the end of the day, take that three points.”
While Hearts were on the losing end in the reverse fixture back in January, Samuel Boadu is confident his side will continue their impressive run of form to brush aside their ‘noisy neighbours.’
Meanwhile PRO for the Dade Boys Saint Osei has insisted his side will give Hearts a run for their money, adding that they seek to make things difficult for the league leaders.
“They will not get it easy like the other clubs,” he told Accra-based Happy FM.
“Hearts say they will score us eight? We shall see. Even without Gladson Awako, Kasim and Abbey-Quarshie, we will score them.”
He also added that the lads in the Rainbow colours are scared of the threat Olympics poses which is why they were unwilling to release their players for national team assignments.
He said: “Why didn’t they release their players to the national team if they are not afraid of Oly? We released our players. It will never happen that we will lose.”
Both teams go head to head at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, with the bragging rights up for grabs at the end of the day.
