Former Ghana Premier League Goal King Eric Bekoe says he’s got an unfinished business with the Porcupine Warriors stating that he is ready to help the club solve its scoring profligacy considering his current ‘fine form.
Kotoko head coach Steve Pollack, has raised concern over his side’s lack of scoring goals which he described as major missing link in his team.
And Bekoe who is currently a free agent after exhausting his six- month deal with Egyptian Second-tier side Kafr Elsheikh SC maintains a return to Kotoko is his ultimate dream.
Speaking on Kumasi based Abusua FM, the former Black Stars striker made it clear that Kotoko was the only local club that he wanted to play for, noting that his passion for the Kumasi-based club was so great that no local club could use any other thing to persuade him to turn his back on the Porcupine Warriors.
Bekoe claims he begged for Kotoko to register him without any signing –on fee when the GPL second window transfer was opened but officials of the club failed to do him the honor of returning to his ‘’boyhood club’’.
‘’Before the second round window transfer came into a close I was in Ghana begging Kotoko management to sign me but they didn’t sign me. I still love Kotoko and ready to serve the club again when handed the opportunity to do so’’
He added’’ Even if they don’t sign me I will return to the team as ‘Ball Boy’ when I retire because of the love I have for the team and my one year stint with them in 2008 is a affirms it.
