Papic, who had won the league title for the Phobians in 2009 took over from underperforming manager Edward Nii Odoom.
It was all rosy when Papic led the Rainbow club in his four games in charge but things changed going forward as his 10 matches in the Premier League ended with four wins, three draws and three losses.
”The influence from the management and board in player selection will make every professional coach uncomfortable at Hearts of Oak,” Papic is reported to have told Accra-based Angel FM.
Before Papic resigned his assistant, Joseph Asare Bediako also resigned from his post last week citing personal reasons.
