Accra Hearts of Oak striker, Abednego Tetteh has shed light on his most ambitious dream in football before he hangs his football boot.
The out of favour striker who has been frozen from the team since the arrival of coach Samuel Boadu believes he has what it takes to lead the national team to break the trophy less jinx.
“My highest aim in football is to lead the Black Stars to go and win the African Cup because since I was born, I have never seen it before (African Cup)” the burly striker stated in an interview on the state own television.
The ex- Bechem player is also optimistic he can lead the Phobians to a league title since 2009 “my prayer is that being an Accra Hearts of Oak player, we will be able to win the Cup for the fans and the players” the player further stated.
Abednego has found it almost impossible to break into the Hearts of Oak set-up after signing for the Rainbow club last year. His last appearance for the club came against Eleven Wonders as a 65th minutes substitute in January.
His dream to lead the Black stars seems almost impossible to achieve looking at his current predicament at club level.
