Ghana forward Inaki Williams has earned a spot in the La Liga Team of Week 10 following his impressive performance for Athletic Bilbao against Espanyol.
The Black Stars striker netted a brace as the Rojiblancos secured a commanding victory at San Mames last Saturday.
Williams played for 73 minutes before being substituted for Nicolas Serrano, a tactical decision by manager Ernesto Valverde aimed at preserving his energy for the upcoming European fixtures. The 30-year-old forward was particularly effective on the right wing, occasionally switching positions with his brother, Nico Williams, who also made headlines by providing two assists during the match.
In addition to Inaki and Nico Williams, their teammate Alex Berenguer was also recognized in the Team of the Week. This season, Inaki has made a significant impact, scoring three goals and providing four assists in ten La Liga appearances, along with one goal in two Europa League matches.
