Score.fr presented their Team of the Week of the French Ligue 1 and Ghana’s Kamaldeen Sulemana – who helped his team to defeat PSG scoring an assist – made the cut.
Goalkeeper: Marco Bizot (Brest)
Already present in our eleven of Ligue 1 revelations, the Dutch international goalkeeper still offered a successful performance on the lawn of Nice, despite the defeat of his family. He is the goalkeeper who made the most saves this weekend, just ahead of the Greens goalkeeper Étienne Green, with seven saves all decisive to prevent the Aiglons from taking off in the standings.

Scorer for the first time in his young career in Ligue 1, the former Lyon player was untenable on his left side against Nice. Imperturbable defensively, the former defensive midfielder now converted to central defender allows the Canaries to benefit from his impressive recovery capacities, which allows his midfielders Pedro Chirivella and Ludovic Blas to play more liberated.
Central defender: Nayef Aguerd (Rennes)
On a field where all the Parisian stars were playing, it is the Moroccan international who has shown himself to be the most transcendent in the game, literally extinguishing all the offensive impulses of the PSG players. If the teammates of Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappé did not even realize the slightest shot, it is largely bitchy to the capital defensive performance of Nayef Aguerd.
Right back: Jimmy Cabot (Angers)
In a meeting where Angers was badly damaged by FC Metz, the former Lorient was very solid in his left lane, and had an exceptional offensive contribution on his many climbs, first delivering an assist for Cho after a high recovery, then for Mangani on an admirably well-hit corner.
Central midfielder: Aurélien Tchouaméni (Monaco)
Scorer against Bordeaux, the former of the Girondine house has perpetuated the tradition of the former Bordeaux scoring against their training clubs. Beyond his goal, the French international delivered a perfect performance, undermining the defense and the midfielder of Bordeaux. In his duel against Fransergio, Tchouaméni swept his Bordeaux vis a vis, auspicious before the international break.
Central midfielder: Alexandr Golovin (Monaco)
The only black point of the meeting of the Russian is his exit from injury on the hour mark. Before that, he delivered a recital scoring the second goal of the Principality’s players with a subtle ball stung with the right foot. A very high level performance for the former CSKA Moscow, who led ASM to a solid victory against Bordeaux.
Left midfielder: Kamaldeen Sulemana (Rennes)
Observers wanted to see Kylian Mbappé, they would have seen Kamaldeen Sulemana. The former player from Nordsjaelland, Denmark, shone on both flanks of the Rennes attack, first on the right where he started the game, then on the left after leaving the right lane to Martin Terrier. Several times dangerous by the strike, he was at the origin of all the Rennes chances, and did not let Achraf Hakimi breathe for a second.
Right midfielder: Jonathan Ikoné (Lille)
Primordial in the system of Jocelyn Gourvennec, the player trained at Paris Saint-Germain was extremely valuable first by his defensive folds, always just against Luan Peres, then offensively. Forward: Arnaud Kalimuendo (Lens)
Also a double scorer against Reims, Kalimuendo has become the tenth different Lens scorer this season, the highest total in the five major European championships. First scorer from a penalty, Kalimuendo then doubled the bet on an assist from Sotoca.
