In February 2013 Jeunesse Sportive de la Saoura (JS Saoura) – founded in 2008 – was taken over by the national drilling company of Algeria via its subsidiary ENAFOR ( Entreprise nationale de forage).
JS Saoura are Hearts of Oak’s opponents in the CAF Confederation Cup play-off round.
ENAFOR acquired 75% controlling shares of the club and since that time the only Southern club in the Algeria Professional elite league has enjoyed considerable stability.

ENAFOR brought stability to JS Saoura
Since 2013, the Southern club has rapidly progressed finishing second twice in 2016 and 2018 in the Algeria top flight.
In 2018/19 CAF Champions League they were in the group stages , finishing 3rd in a group that contained Al – Ahly, Simba of Tanzania and AS Vita of Dr. Congo.
The ambition of Saoura is to become one of the best teams of Algeria.
