A former Operations Manager of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Owusu, has advised passionate supporters of the club to massively rally behind the newly appointed Chief Executive, Dr. Kwame Kyei, to electrify him to build Kotoko into a dreadful side.
Nana Yaw Owusu speaking in an interview with Daily Graphic said that supporting Dr Kyei would not only be pushed to make Kotoko regain its buried glory at the local level without an inflicting support from it’s fandom.
He adds such appreciable support would also ginger the business tycoon to transform the club into a fearsome one at the international level.
“It is good that Dr Kyei, who is an accomplished entrepreneur, has taken over Kotoko at this stage. Both past and present managements of the club, as well as supporters from all parts of the country should not sit on the fence. They should rather offer him their unflinching support because supporting Dr Kyei will give him the dynamism to handle Kotoko more efficiently and effectively,” he mentioned.
He continued to say that in supporting Dr Kyei, the numerous Kotoko fans would also be serving the occupant of the Golden Stool, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II through the newly appointed chief executive .
“With the right support and encouragement, Dr Kyei will build Kotoko in a way that will put it at the forefront to annex trophies at both the local and continental levels,” he concluded.
