In a detailed statement released on Sunday, June 1, 2025, Nations FC outlined five key reasons behind their dramatic protest, which took place midway through the second half while they trailed 1-0 in a tense title-chasing encounter at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Stadium.

1. Poor Officiating
