Hearts of Oak sensation Manaf Umar Gumah has admitted that his side were not at their best against Liberty Professionals in their GFA Normalisation Special Competition midweek fixture.
The Phobians were denied their second straight win after drawing goalless with the Dansoman based club at the Accra Sports Stadium.
However, Umar says that Hearts will make amends against Ebusua Dwarfs at Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday.
Manaf Umar was named Man of the Match in the Phobians 4-0 demolishing of West Africa Football Academy in matchday nine [9] of the competition and hopes to replicate his fine form for Kim Grant’s side in their trip to Cape Coast.
“It was not a good game for us against Liberty on Wednesday. We came all out for victory but unfortunately it did not work out for us,” the Auroras graduate told ncspecialcompetition.com in an interview.
“There are a lot of games ahead and we are looking to responding positively in our next games which starts from the match against Dwarfs.
“We are looking forward to correct our mistakes. We have to beat them on Sunday to remain top of the table in Zone B.
Hearts are first on the log with 19 points, one above second side Karela United and eight above Ebusua Dwarfs.
