Reigning Serie A champion Inter Mialn are currently left without a coach.
This comes after the club announced on Wednesday afternoon that they have reached an agreement with Antonio Conte for the immediate termination of his contract, ending the bond between the club and coach for two years.
“The Inter Milan announces that it has reached an agreement for the termination of the contract of our coach Antonio Conte . The club wants to thank Antonio for his extraordinary work. It will always be in our history, “said the official statement in which the Interista squad made the news public.
Antonio Conte had one more year of contract with Inter Milan , until June 2022, but his discrepancies with the ‘Nerazzurri’ property would have led to the disagreement, solved with just over 7 million in compensation in exchange for fulfilling the bond.
According to the latest information, the reason for the discrepancy lay in the fact that Antonio Conte wanted to take a step forward in terms of Inter’s growth , and instead the property proposed a new season of cuts in wages.
Antonio Conte’s two seasons at Inter Milan have been, if not outstanding, at least remarkably high. This last year has managed to finalize the hegemony of Juventus by conquering Serie A and in the previous one, although defeated in it by Sevilla , it reached the final of the Europa League .
