Two weeks ago in the Ghana Premier League, the most talked about event was the nature of the Berekum Golden City Park which hosted the week two topliner between Chelsea and Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC.
The game itself ended in a stalemate after Emmanuel Clottey came from the bench to score the equalizer for the home team against his former employers.
After the game, every soccer loving fan in the country was at least disappointed or dismayed with the nature of the pitch that was allowed by authorities to hosts top-flight football.
Two weeks on and not much has been done on the field though it looks a little bit better than before and could be good for games now than it previously was.
Chelsea, after a slight improvement in the nature of the pitch, have recorded their first win of the season by beating Liberty Professionals FC with a lone goal.
Emmanuel Clottey seemed to have found a home in the side that shot him to lamplight some seasons back and has scored two goals in two games at the Golden City Park.
