‘Celebrated’ Ghana referee, Daniel Laryea has reacted to Dreams FC assistant coach Abdul Karim Zito’s comment about the protection of players in the domestic league.
According to the renowned center referee, the players must be talked to to play fair game and play to injure their colleagues.

He further stated that advise should be given to players to desist from bad tackles which could end one’s career as a footballer.
He also advised referees to be firm and punish offenders accordingly to bring sanity to the game and eventually protect players from horrible injuries.
“AGREED. but the rest of the players in the league…they must also know this.. however, the strong warnings from referees, the YC and RC will NEVER heal a Broken leg.”
“PLAYERS does the heavy challenges and the Referees must see the challenges and sanctions accordingly. Fair play” he wrote on social media.

These comments comes after Karim Zito charged match officials to protect ‘national assert’ Issahaku Abdul Fatawu.
