Hugo Broos has selected his preliminary squad for the upcoming African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast. The Belgian coach announced a 50-man preliminary squad that will be trimmed to twenty-three.
Out of the preliminary squad announced, ten of the players are from the same the club with Ghana’s Number one goalkeeper Richard Ofori.

Richard Ofori signed for the Buccaneers in 2020 from Maritzburg. The Black Stars goalie has been limited to a spot in the team however, he has been tipped to the Black Stars number one in Ivory Coast.
