Nzema United midfielder Philip Ackah has met his untimely death through Cardiac-arrest Friday evening.
The player according to club officials collapsed whilst training and was quickly rushed to Axim government Hospital but shockingly lost his life after doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival.
Ackah 19 was said to have been initially taken to the Nkroful clinic but his situation was beyond doctors control and was subsequently referred to the Axim Government Hospital where he was later confirmed dead by the doctors on duty.
William Yenzu Quansah head coach of the club when contacted by sportsworlghana.com after hearing the sad news said he was startling he heard the news after having a phone call conversation with the player hours before his departure.
‘’ Seriously I am speechless because I spoke to Philip some hours ago only to be told later that he has passed on after collapsing at training grounds’’/
He added Philip Ackah an play almost all matches for his club in the division two league which ended just last Sunday.
