Striker Sadick Adams has lauded the contributions of Black Stars deputy coach David Duncan in his football career.
The former Black Starlets attacker emphasized that Duncan brought him up in Ashanti Gold and offered him his first opportunity to shine at a bigger stage.
“Coach Duncan has played a pivotal role in my career, he was the one who gave me confidence by letting me join the first team at Ashanti Gold from the academy to play a Tournament called Macufe in South Africa which we won in 2006.” Adams exclusively told SportsworldGhana.com in an interview.
“He also gave me my debut in the Ghana Premier League which was against Feyenoord (WAFA) in which I scored and also assisted a goal. He had great believe in me and I never disappointed him.”
Adams who is currently a free agent after ending his contract with Lebanese outfit Shabab Bourj further hinted that he could join Berekum Chelsea for the second round of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League though nothing has been completed yet.
“I nearly joined Eleven Wonders but things didn’t go well so right now I am still thinking of which club to sign for. Berekum Chelsea is just like home for me so I can join them anytime but for now, I haven’t taking any decision yet.”
Adams, has previously played for clubs including Atletico Madrid in Spain, Vojvodina in Serbia, Etoile Du Sahel, Ashanti Gold, Berekum Chelsea, Kotoko and a host of others in the Arabian Gulf countries.
