Ghanaian duo Grejohn Kyei and Kwadwo Duah are continuously dominating headlines in Switzerland following their exploits in the Swiss top-flight league.
The two forwards combined have scored 20 goals so far in the Swiss Super League in the 2020/21 season.
Kyei, 25, a striker who was born in Gonesse- France to Ghanaian parents, has scored 11 goals and provided two assists in 25 games for Servette FC– a club he joined on a three-year deal in 2019 from French Ligue 1 side Stade de Reims.
The striker who has represented France at the U21 level, has also bagged two goals in this season’s UEFA Europa League.
The lanky attacker, who can also play on the flanks started his career with Stade Reims at age 15, going on to make his debut for the club against OGC Nice.
After helping the club secure promotion to Ligue I, he joined Lens on loan but his place Reims but couldn’t cement a permanent place in the team and had to make a switch to Servette FC. Kyei is eligible to feature for Ghana’s senior national team- the Black Stars.
Duah on the other hand, has netted nine goals plus two assists in 24 matches for St. Gallen FC so far this campaign. He also has one goal in the UEFA Europa League.
Duah is a youth product from BSC Young Boys. He made his Swiss Super League debut on 30 July 2016 against FC Lugano. He replaced Yoric Ravet after 78 minutes.
The 24-year old forward was born in London, England, and moved to Switzerland at a young age. Duah is of Ghanaian descent, and holds dual citizenship with Ghana and Switzerland.
He has represented Switzerland from the U18 to the U20 levels but remains eligible to represent Ghana at the senior national team level.
Duah joined FC St. Gallen from FC Wil 1900 on a two-year deal during last year’s summer transfer window.
