Ghana midfielder Kwame Bonsu is a big part of the Esperance de Tunis squad list of manager Mouine Chaabani ahead of the massive Tunis derby on Wednesday night at the Rades Stadium.
There is massive tension in the city of Rades ahead of the match of the season as Esperance could land their league title number 30 in case of a victory. The team of Chaabani lead the table with 53 points – ten more points over second-placed Sfaxien who have played a game more.
The 28-year old former Asante Kotoko player has appeared in over 20 matches across all competitions for the Devils of Africa and he could clinch his first silverware since joining Esperance in July 2019 from the Porcupine Warriors.
Bonsu came off the bench in the last game of Esperance against Stade Tunisien which ended 2-1 in favour of the former club but the former Sweden-based player is expected to get a starting berth tonight.
