Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acqauh was in action for Yeni Malatyaspor as they posted a 2-1 away win over Isaac Sackey’s Hatayspor in the Turkish Süper Lig on Wednesday afternoon.
The game failed to produce a goal in the first forty-five minutes but Zeki Yavru scored eight minutes after the break to put the visitors ahead before Adem Buyuk doubled their lead in the 63rd minute.
Just as Yeni Malatyaspor thought they were leaving the Jan Breydel Stadion with a 2-0 victory, Aaron Salem Boupendza scored in the 87th minute after being set up by Mohammed Kamara to reduce the scoreline to 2-1 in favor of the visiting team.
Meanwhile, Afriyie Acquah who got subbed in the 84th minute for Mustafa Eskihellac was booked in the 39th-minute mark of the game.
Isaac Sackey on the other hand lasted the full duration of the game.
Yeni Malatyaspor currently sits 9th on the league log with twenty-seven 27 points after playing nineteen games.
