Black Starlets Captain Eric Ayiah feels the USA may emerge Ghana’s biggest threat in Group A of the Fifa U-17 World Cup slated for India from October 6.
The Black Starlets were pitted against hosts India, USA and Colombia when a draw was held in Mumbai, Friday.
Ayiah who is hoping to lead Ghana to its 3rd World Cup trophy tells Starr FM Sports that the USA may be an impediment in their group stage qualification.
“We know the countries in our group but we don’t know anything about the teams so it’s going to be difficult but we are going to prepare very well to face them.
“USA may be our biggest enemy because they are a football country but we will work harder to overcome them,” Ayiah opined.
Ghana will open their campaign in the tournament against the Colombians.
