Heart of Lions head coach Bashir Hayford has urged his squad to continue their fighting spirit and maintain their unbeaten run in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
The Kpando-based team has demonstrated impressive form, remaining undefeated after three matches.
Heart of Lions opened their season with a draw against Aduana Stars, followed by a crucial victory over Hearts of Oak in Week 2. Most recently, they fought hard to secure a 2-2 draw against Dreams FC in Week 3.
In his post-match interview, Coach Hayford emphasized the importance of staying focused and building on their current momentum. “We have played three matches and we have still not lost, so I think we are on the right path. It’s important for us to capitalize on this and move forward. We need to maintain our undefeated status for some time, and this is what we are planning to do,” he stated during an interview with Heart of Lions TV.
Currently positioned in the top four of the league standings with five points from one win and two draws, Heart of Lions have shown commendable resilience in their early fixtures.
As they look ahead, the team is set to face their next challenge in Week 4 against Bibiani Gold Stars, aiming to extend their unbeaten streak.
