English-born striker of Ghanaian descent Kwame Thomas has today Wednesday 14th April 2021 undergone successful surgery to repair a tendon in his left wrist, bringing his season at AFC Wrexham to an end.
The 25-year old striker sustained an injury at training as his side were preparing for Monday’s home game with Torquay United and has undertaken surgery.
Thomas confirmed on Social media on Wednesday that he had undergone successful surgery.

The attacker who has banged in ten league goals this season as his side continue their quest to qualify for the League 2 will spend almost two months in the sidelines which means he will only be available for their pre-season ahead of the 2021/2022 campaign.

Kwame has been his AFC Wrexham’s best player so far this season and he is in line to win their player of the year award, having bagged 10 goals in 20 matches so far.
